Cooperative Extension of Union County

From the South:

1. Go north on U.S. Route 1 to Rt. 18 in New Brunswick.
2. Take Route 18 East to N.J. Turnpike, and drive north to Exit #11 (Garden State Parkway).
3. Go north on Garden State Parkway about 8 miles to Exit 135 (Westfield/Clark).
4. Bear left around circle underneath Parkway and take Central Avenue straight into Westfield (2-3/4 miles).
5. After going underneath Central RR trestle, turn right at traffic light onto North Avenue.
6. Go beyond Drug Fair parking lot on right and beyond next building (300 North Avenue) to county parking lot entrance at "Union County Police" sign.
7. Park in any unreserved space. Enter building from the rear center door.

1. Go north on U.S. #1 to Garden State Parkway.
2. Go north on Garden State Parkway to Exit #135.
3. See #4 above.

From the North:

1. Go south on Garden State Parkway to Exit #135 (Westfield/Clark).
2. Bear right onto Central Avenue into Westfield (2-3/4 miles).
3. After going underneath Central RR trestle, turn right at traffic light onto North Avenue.
4. Go beyond Drug Fair parking lot on right and beyond next building (300 North Avenue) to county parking lot entrance at "Union County Police" sign.
5. Park in any unreserved space.
6. Enter building from center rear door.

1. Go south on Garden State Parkway to Exit #137 (Cranford/Roselle Park).
2. Bear right onto North Avenue (Route 28).
3. Go approximately three miles on North Ave. through Cranford, Garwood, and into Westfield.
4. Fenced-in parking is on the left, before the 300 North Avenue building, across from the Westfield Diner.
5. Park in any unreserved space.
6. Enter building from rear center door.

From the West:

1. Go east on Route 22 to New Providence Road Exit.
2. Bear right at exit to first traffic light (Mountain Avenue).
3. Turn right onto Mountain Avenue to the end (Broad St intersection/left lane).
4. From left lane, turn right onto Broad St, then IMMEDIATE left onto Central Avenue.
5. Central Avenue to first traffic light (North Avenue).
6. Turn left onto North Avenue.
7. Pass Drug Fair parking lot and next building (300 North Avenue).
8. Fenced-in parking is just beyond brick building on right.
9. Park in any unreserved space.
10. Enter building from rear center door.

From the East:

1. Go west on Route 22 to New Providence Road Exit.
2. Bear right to cross Route 22 at traffic light.
3. Cross Route 22 on New Providence Road to first light at Mountain Avenue.
4. Turn right onto Mountain Avenue to the end (Broad St intersection/left lane).
5. From left lane, turn right onto Broad Street, then IMMEDIATE left onto Central Avenue.
6. Central Avenue to first traffic light (North Avenue).
7. Turn left onto North Avenue.
8. Pass Drug Fair parking lot and next building (300 North Avenue).
9. Fenced-in parking is just beyond brick building on right.
10. Park in any unreserved space.
11. Enter building from rear center door.
